Wooden LED Watch
The author of this watch is Kouji Iwasaki. They not only show the time on their wooden panel, but also the date. They also boast an alarm clock and just a beautiful design for any interior. There are 2 versions of the watch, for 10 digits and for 4 digits. The latest version can be made by hand.
Below is a simple instruction on how to make a watch, including the shutdown button.
1. Window
The front of the watch is made from a very thin piece of balsa so that light can pass through it.
2. Box
For the box, you need to cut four plywood walls. This example used a laser for perfect cutting. Superglue was used to connect all the walls. Leave the back and front of the box open to insert the watch.
3. clock
Place the box you formed face down and gently insert the watch. Then you can glue the watch in the box. In the image, everything inside does not look very neat and beautiful, but the watch is tightly fixed.
4. button
The main button (the off button) must be highlighted, and the rest of the configuration buttons can be reached through the back of the box. In this example, the author cut a small wooden button out of wood, made a hole in the box, and glued it to the button on the watch.
5. We close
You can close the box with glue and get a beautiful wooden LED watch.

This beautiful amulet is called Martenitsa, and in ancient times it was believed to protect against evil spirits. To make it, you can use thin bamboo skewers or toothpicks (if you want to make small amulets).

DIY wooden flowers
In this material, wooden flowers are part of a small topiary. To make such a tree, including wooden flowers, you will need:
– sharpener
– scissors
– glue
– watercolor paints
– brush
– threads
– paper
– several branches
– cinnamon stick
– clay or gypsum
– sisal
– wrapping paper
– linen threads
1. Prepare the twigs.
Carefully cut a few branches off any tree with a pruner – the main thing is not to break them. This example uses birch and apple branches. It is desirable that the branch be as thick as a pencil. Cut one branch at a time, not several at once, as they will dry out and the flowers will not work.
2. Use a sharp knife to clean the branch and sharpen it like a pencil.
3. Start making wooden roses.
Use a sharpener for this – just “sharpen” the branch like a regular pencil and you will form a rose. The chips you get curl like a rose, but in some cases you can touch them up a little bit. Before you start making another rose, you need to cut off the sharp end of the branch and start sharpening the branch again. You choose the volume of the flower yourself.
4. We decorate.
The roses can be left unpainted, but you can paint them with watercolors. If you decide to paint after all, test first on extra chips, because after applying the paint, its color on the rose darkens. After painting, leave the flowers to dry.
5. The base of the tree.
Prepare paper (this example used green paper and threads). Crush the paper with your hands and form a ball of the size you need (in this example, the ball has a diameter of 3.5 cm). Wrap the sphere with thread, and then make a hole in it with a sharp object, such as scissors.
Prepare a cinnamon stick and coat its tip with glue. After that, drip glue into the hole in the ball and glue the stick.
6. We are collecting.
Start gluing the roses to the sphere. After you have glued all the flowers, there will be small gaps between them, which can be closed with bunches of sisal or threads.
7. We decorate the pot.
In this case, a plastic cup was used instead of a pot. But you can find more environmentally friendly material, such as a small wooden pot or a cup.
Wrap the cup with paper of any color that is suitable for the composition. When wrapping, you can form folds for beauty. Use glue. To secure the paper. Then wrap everything with linen thread.
8. We are fastening our tree.
You can do this with gypsum or clay. Fill a glass or cup with clay and slowly insert a cinnamon stick into the clay to prevent it from breaking. Wait for the clay to dry, and you can paint it and decorate it with moss, for example.
