Today we suggest that you make a wonderful craft with your own hands, which will be an original decorative butterfly. The process of creating this craft is so simple that even a child will be able to cope with this task.

Moreover, we will not need any special things to make this butterfly, and all the parts that we will use can be found on the street literally under our feet and, practically, next to every house.

Our butterfly will easily decorate your home, and will also become a wonderful craft that your child can proudly take to kindergarten or school and safely tell you that he made it his own with your hands.

To make a butterfly, we will need:

maple helicopters;

cardboard butterfly pattern;

ordinary and nail scissors;

hot melt adhesive.

So let's get started!

First, let's go outside and assemble the most common maple helicopters, or, as they are scientifically called, flat lionfish.

We now have the main element to create our future decorative butterfly.

We take ordinary scissors and carefully cut off the petals from the helicopters. We do not throw away the parts that contain the seeds; we will also need them in the future to make the butterfly's body.

From two lionfish, using nail scissors, we cut out these two identical parts, from which we will make the head and antennae of the butterfly.

Now cut out the butterfly outline from a piece of cardboard, which will be the basis of our future craft.

We begin to apply the cut lionfish petals to the cardboard outline, starting from its lower part.

Apply a little hot melt glue to the tip of each petal.

Glue the cardboard outline of the butterfly around the perimeter, overlapping the petals one after the other.

In the same way, we glue the second layer of petals, shifting the gluing site closer to the center of the cardboard contour of the butterfly.

Now we take the two parts that we have prepared for the head and antennae, and glue them to the appropriate place.

It remains to form the body of our butterfly.

Apply a little hot melt glue to the seed, or rather to the cut site where we cut off the petal.

Glue several seeds with an edge along the butterfly's body line.

Our butterfly is ready!

See how quick and easy the whole process of making this craft looks like in the video.
