The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel
The giant Ferris wheel The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel is clearly visible from anywhere in the city. This is the best attraction for exploring Pigeon Forge – all the areas and attractions of Pigeon Forge Island and the vast expanses of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are perfectly visible from it. In addition, the breathtaking view of the mountains will not leave indifferent even those who are afraid of heights. The panorama of the city and its surroundings is especially beautiful in the evening, when bright lights are lit everywhere.

Pigeon Forge Island
Pigeon Forge Island is the main tourist attraction of the city. There are always a lot of people here at any time of the year. Shops, restaurants, attractions and other entertainment can be found literally in every corner of the island. The most interesting locations that must be visited are the extravagant Pigeon Forge WonderWorks Museum, the kitschy Goats on the Roof petting zoo and the fun Adventure Park with lots of entertainment for adults and children.

Museum “Alcatraz” (Alcatraz East Crime Museum)
The museum “East Alcatraz” is a true chronicle of crimes and punishments, which are rich in the history of the state of Tennessee. The famous gangster Al Capone, robber and murderer Dillinger, O. J. Simpson — the expositions of this place will tell the whole story of crimes committed by the most famous prisoners of America from the beginning of the XX century to the present day.

The museum’s unique exhibitions will introduce the carefully collected evidence that allowed them to be taken into custody, clothes, weapons and cars of these criminals, who have become not only part of US history, but also legends. Of course, there is entertainment here, for example, a shooting range for thrill seekers and a carefully recreated laboratory where fans of detectives can feel like a special agent of the FBI and investigate crimes once committed.

The Old Mill
The Old mill is an important historical landmark of Pigeon Forge. It was built at the end of the XVIII century on the square named after her — Old Mill Square. This square was designed in such a way as to preserve the historical atmosphere of the times of the first settlers of the region. There are restaurants and cafes around the mill, but there are no modern signs with lighting — their owners are trying to match the spirit of their past. This area is listed on the U.S. Register of Historic Places and completely recreates that era, and it looks great.

WonderWorks Amusement Park
The upside—down Pigeon Forge Museum building is an amazing place that defies logic and gravity. It’s not really a museum, although there are expositions here. It is an indoor amusement park dedicated to natural sciences.

Rope roads, whose trails mysteriously glow in the dark, exciting games and laser tag are not all the surprises that the unusual, funny, and sometimes absurd Pigeon Forge WonderWorks offers its visitors. It is worth coming here with the whole family to explore its secrets and get an extraordinary pleasure from the numerous riddles, mysteries and dizzying journeys through playgrounds.

Hollywood Wax Museum
Hollywood Wax Museum takes its visitors to the world of glamorous, bright and unique Hollywood from the first step. Artfully executed wax statues will appeal to everyone — from fans of Elvis Presley and Julia Roberts, to pirate Johnny Depp and other idols of the younger generation. And that’s not all — after exploring the wax figures gallery, museum visitors will be able to have fun in Hannah’s mirror maze, escape from bloodthirsty zombies and take part in other adventures.

Hollywood Wax Museum is one of the funniest versions of Madame Tussauds Museum, complete with entertainment and games. And while adults are reacquainting themselves with their favorite actors of Hollywood movies, children can have a lot of fun exploring the bizarre Castle of Chaos or taking pictures with the ferocious King Kong.
