Lake Retba
The amazing pink Lake Retba is one of the most striking natural attractions of Senegal. Bright — in the literal sense of the word, because Retba is famous for its amazingly juicy pink color of water, sparkling under the hot sun rays with thousands of carmine, purple and even orange shades.

Stone circles of Senegambia
Throughout its history, mankind has sought to build impressive structures. This was often achieved by erecting the “most-most” buildings: large, tall, long, expensive. Almost everyone knows about some of the megalithic complexes, for example, Stonehenge.

Niokolo-Koba National Park
“Niokolo-Koba” is the largest national park in Senegal. It is located on a hill cut by the upper course of the Gambia River in a water-rich region. The local forests and savannas are home to 70 species of mammals, 329 species of birds.

The Island of Grief
The island under the name of the Mountain, which evokes not the most pleasant feelings, is located 2 km from the capital of Senegal — Dakar. Despite the proximity to the mainland, due to the lack of fresh water, people settled here only in the middle of the 15th century. These were Portuguese colonialists.

Juj Park
Red herons, white spoonbills, cormorants, ducks — the variety of birds living in the Judy National Park on the border of Senegal and Mauritania is impressive. The fact is that these lands covered with canals and lakes at the mouth of the Senegal River are a real refuge, the first oasis.
