Useful tips

When you want to meet someone, it's natural to think about the pleasant first impression you want to create when you start a conversation.

You can start a conversation with simple phrases like “Hey, how are you doing, what are you doing” or “I think I saw you at Starbucks today,” for example, or you can come up with something original like “Sorry, I looked at you so much that I forgot to introduce myself” or start by talking about someone in the same room.

But some people try to be too original, so it's not always possible to get to know each other and start a conversation. However, there are such ridiculous and funny phrases that, paradoxically, can work precisely due to their strangeness and absurdity.

It is worth noting that these phrases will not provide every guy with an acquaintance with a girl, since much depends on you, on the manner of speaking, confidence, sense of humor, and so on.

How to start a conversation

“Your parents must be terrorists because you're just a bomb.”

“Do you accept invitations to your fan club?”

“Didn't you and I go to different schools?”

This phrase is deliberately confusing, and obliges the girl to try to understand what you are talking about. This is about the same as saying, “I just noticed that you noticed me and thought I noticed that I noticed you too.”

“Hi. And your name isn't Wi-Fi by any chance, because I feel we're connected.”

“I lost my teddy bear that I hugged. Can you replace it for me?”

It seems innocent, but it seems not so innocent. The result is a bad dating phrase that might be good.

“I may not be the first handsome guy here, but I'm the only one who's willing to talk to you.”

At the very least, it would be fair.

“Have we met? The thing is, you look like my future girlfriend.”

If you say this phrase with confidence, you can intrigue her.

“Hi. Can you spare me a few minutes to flirt?”

A head-on offer can give good results.

“Hi. I think you've dropped something. [I don't think so.] I think so — my own standards. Hi, I'm [my name].”

This is such a bad and yet modest way to meet that a girl might like it.

“Do you like berries or bananas? I'd like to know what to serve your pancakes with in the morning.”

At least she'll know you can cook.

“Your body is like a wonderland and I would love to be Alice.”

Suddenly, all of a sudden, and just by the bull's horns.

Starting a conversation with a girl

“My love for you is like diarrhea, I can't hold it back.”

Sometimes jokes come from the waist down.

“Hi. I'm Microsoft. Can I hang out at your place?”

Silly geek jokes.

“There's only one thing I could change about you. Your last name.”

And you can go straight to the registry office.

“Hi. I would like to offer you my time in exchange for your willingness to chat.”

It's hard, it's brazen, but it can work.

“If I were an equally sweet girl, I would definitely get to know myself.”

“Hi. I wanted to say that your eyes are incredibly beautiful, especially your left one.”

It's silly and ridiculous. Girls like guys with a sense of humor.

“I think I know you! I just forgot to write down my phone.”

It's not original, but if you say it with enviable confidence, it might seem like a funny joke. The same can be said about the phrase: “Aren't you ashamed to be so attractive?”.

“Hi. You're incredibly beautiful, so it was scary to approach at first!”

“Hi. Well here I am. Now you only have two wishes left.”

It is brazen and bold, but as you know, the city takes courage.

“It was very scary, but I still decided to approach you with my feet and speak my tongue.”

It's actually not such a bad option, especially if you're not very self-confident, as this phrase will be true to you.

How to approach a girl

“You looked at me like your parents went to the cottage.”

“I feel sorry for others. The thing is that your beauty turns them into a grey mass.”

Blatant flattery, but it might work.

“Hi. I don't think I'd like to meet you. Actually, I'd also like to ask you out.”

“Hi. Don't you play drums by any chance? [No.] So am I. You see how much we have in common.”

“Hi. What are you going to do tomorrow night after we go to the movies with you?”

It may not do anything, or it may allow you to invite her somewhere again.

“Do you happen to know what the Japanese yen is currently worth?”

It's a strange question, but at least it will make the girl think, while you can think of something else to stay.

Approach the girl with your passport open. You show her the name on your passport and say, “Now it's your turn.”

“There's something wrong with my phone. I don't think it has your number on it.”

“If I asked you out, would your answer be the same as the answer to this question?”

Let her think about it, smile and continue the conversation, but only if she does not turn away from the gate after smiling.

“If I were a transplant, I would give you my heart.”

It's sweet, but it might work.

“Isn't your name Google by any chance? You just have everything I've been looking for.”

“I think your hand is heavy, can I hold it?”

“If beauty could kill, you would be a weapon of mass destruction.”

It looks like something like an old school pickup truck, but it can also be effective.

“Hi. Can I kiss you and if you don't like it, you can just give the kiss back?”

It's bold and stupid, so it might work.

“Didn't you hear about the new illness? It's called Beauty and I think you're infected with it.”

“You're probably an illusionist because every time I look at you everything disappears.”

“It's good that I insured my health, because when I saw you, my heart almost stopped.”

The guy went to the pretty little cashier and said, “If I hadn't bought all this, would you scan me?”
