Three Sisters Mountain
Three Sisters — so lovingly the inhabitants of Liechtenstein dubbed three impressive rock peaks towering on the border with Austria. They are part of the mountain system of the Alps and form a natural line between the two neighboring countries.
Vaduz Castle
The Principality of Liechtenstein is rightfully proud of its centuries-old history, many evidences of which still delight the eyes of guests of the country. These include Vaduz Castle, now the official residence of the ruling dynasty.
Guttenberg Castle
Gutenberg Castle is located on the southern border of Liechtenstein, a few kilometers from the border with Switzerland. The scale of it is amazing, and twice — from a distance it seems disproportionately small against the backdrop of majestic mountains, and up close it is large and monumental.
Vaduz Cathedral
Vaduz Cathedral, wrapped in tree crowns, is located a little away from the rest of the sights of the old town. Its gray walls and rather modest appearance only emphasize the strict beauty of the tower, crowned with a Gothic spire.
Liechtenstein Museum of Art
The museum’s collection includes works of contemporary art from different countries and covers the period from the 19th century to the present day. The most important part of the exhibition consists of sculptures and installations, as well as works in the art-povera style. In 2006, the museum acquired the collection of the Cologne gallerist Rolf Reke.
