Gediminas Tower
Climbing the Castle Hill in Vilnius is a mandatory part of the classic tour program. However, the view does not get worse from this. From the top of the mountain you will be able to take in the whole Old Town, count the spires of the churches and admire the bends of the Neris River. For those who do not have the strength to climb so high on foot, there is also an option: a small funicular rides up and down the mountain, a one-way trip costs only € 1. If you want to climb even higher, you can climb to the roof of the tower itself (the price of the question is € 6 for adults, open until 20:00). You will have to climb three floors up a narrow spiral staircase, and along the way you will get acquainted with the exposition, which tells about the history of the city as a center of INCL.

“Three Crosses”
The view that opens from one of the highest hills in Vilnius is worth climbing several hundred steps. So, to see Vilnius in all its glory, be sure to plan a trip to the snow-white monument: the ascent begins from the Bernardine Garden and is a newly renovated staircase with railings. One of the advantages of the observation deck “Three Crosses” in front of the platform on the Castle Hill – from here you can clearly see the Castle Hill itself. And besides her, all the streets of the Old City are in the palm of your hand.

Observation deck on Subachaus Street
Address: intersection of Subačiaus g. and Maironio g.
This site is located right above the peaceful Kudru Park, the landmark is a huge Ukrainian flag that flutters in the wind. There is a small coffee shop right by the observation deck: you can take a hot drink with you, sit in an armchair and contemplate the picturesque panorama of Vilnius for a long time. You will see the ancient temples of the Old City, and endless parks, and skyscrapers in the distance.

Another observation deck on Subachaus Street
Address: Hill at the bastion of the Vilnius City Wall, Subačiaus g. 18.
A similar panorama opens from the top of the hill at the bastion of the Vilnius City Wall. Walking along the ancient stone wall, among the treetops you can see all the main temples of Vilnius, Castle Hill, the modern area on the other side of the Neris and the roofs of Uzhupis.

Neringa Rooftop Bar
To carefully examine the roofs of Gediminas Avenue and the surrounding streets, feel free to enter the Neringa Hotel and take the elevator to the top floor. From the outdoor terrace you will get a great view of the central artery of the city. However, if you want not only to admire the views, but also to hook a cocktail, we advise you to book a table in advance. On weekdays, the bar is open from 15:00 to midnight, on weekends – from 12:00.

Residence Bar
This rooftop bar is open only in summer, so this year, unfortunately, it will not be possible to rest with a glass, admiring the Uzhupis from a height. Nevertheless, the view that opens from the terrace of the Residence is clearly worth including a visit to this place in a long-term plan to explore Vilnius.
