How to decorate eggs

To decorate eggs using the decoupage method, we will need:
white boiled eggs
decorative napkins with pictures

Separate each napkin
and leave only the upper part of the picture.

Carefully tear out the fragment of the picture you like with
your hands.

We put all the fragments into a pile of future egg decorations.

After the drawings have been prepared, take the egg white and whisk it a little with a fork until smooth.

Put the cut pattern on a boiled egg
and glue it on top with a brush moistened with protein. This is how we decorate the whole egg.

After decorating the whole egg, put it on a plate and let it dry.

In addition, you can decorate the egg by wrapping it completely in a napkin. To do this, put the napkin on the egg and start applying the protein, starting from the middle of the napkin and moving to the edges.

When half of the egg is already decorated with a napkin, turn it into your hand, bring all the edges of the napkin together and cut off the excess with scissors.

Thus, we decorate all the eggs and put them on a plate to dry.

After all the eggs have dried, grease them with a small amount of sunflower oil – this will give them a beautiful shine.

These are the colorful and unusual Easter eggs that you will not be ashamed to put in a gift basket and give to relatives and friends.

Easter tips
And now I'll tell you some tips that will help you make decorating eggs with the decoupage technique even easier and more beautiful:

Napkin designs can also be cut with scissors, and this sometimes gives an original urban effect, but the torn edges are more harmoniously connected to each other, so give it away preference for this method.

Small napkins, such as polka dot patterns or stripes, are best suited for decoupage eggs, but small pictures will also work and will look equally beautiful on the egg.

For decoupage, it is best to use decorative napkins with a white or light background, especially so that they merge with the egg, and create the feeling that the drawings are made directly on the shell.

It is better to take eggs with a light shell, since it is much more difficult to choose napkins with drawings and a dark background, and here the contrast will not be very appropriate.
