Insomnia

Insomnia treatment
1. Valerian tea

Valerian has long been considered a herb that can calm the nervous system, relieve anxiety and stress. Studies have shown that valerian can increase the production of GABA (gama-aminobutyric acid), an important inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system. Thanks to GABA, the human body induces sleep and eliminates mental arousal.
Grind 2 teaspoons of valerian root and pour 0.5 liters of boiling water, preferably in a thermos bottle, and close more tightly so that the essential oils do not evaporate. After 10 minutes, the tea is ready.
2. Chamomile tea

This flower tea perfectly relaxes, calms the nervous system and fights insomnia due to its content of chrysin flavanoid, which has pronounced sedative properties. In addition, chamomile tea has many other beneficial qualities, including cleansing the body, preventing ARVI and acute respiratory infections, and much more.
Pour two teaspoons of flowers into 200 ml of boiling water. Let it brew for 10-15 minutes. Strain and drink warm. If you buy ready-made tea, make sure that the tea is free of additives.

Pour 3 tablespoons of the collection with 2 cups of water and boil in a water bath for 5 minutes. Cool, drain and take 0.5 cups of the harvest after meals. The course is 21 days.
4. Passionflower

The main thing for which this plant is valued is for its pronounced sedative properties. The active substances of passionflower increase the level of GABA (gama-aminobutyric acid). GABA reduces brain cell activity, helping to relax and fall asleep better.
Take 1 tablespoon of passionflower flowers per 300 grams of boiling water. The brewing time is 10 minutes. Cool, drain and take one hour before bedtime.
5. Peppermint

Peppermint contains mint oil, which contains flavanoids, menthol, and carotene. Mint tea has a calming effect and normalizes sleep. Menthol, which makes up the majority, helps dilate blood vessels and head vessels.
