Lake Constance
Lake Constance, also known as Lake Constance, is the third largest lake in Central Europe, fed by the waters of the deep Rhine. Three countries are located on the picturesque shores of the Bodensee: Germany, Austria and Switzerland – and each benefits from this position.
The Würzburg Residence
The palace was built in the XVIII century by order of the princely bishops of the Schoenborn family. Famous architects from Mainz, Vienna and Paris worked on its creation under the guidance of the talented and extraordinary Balthazar Neumann.
Dachau
If not for the association with the “murder school”, the town of Dachau attracted travelers with beautiful parks and ancient castles, towers and museums, fountains and monuments.
Altenburg Castle in Bamberg
Altenburg Castle was built on the highest of the seven hills of Bamberg, above the city, and it happened in 1109 (at least the first mention of the castle dates back to this year, although it very much looks like it was built over an earlier fortress).
Linderhof Castle
The Bavarian land is famous for its majestic and unique castles. A special place among them is occupied by the residence of King Ludwig II — Linderhof Castle. The German ruler, a dreamer, who, without exaggeration, devoted his whole life to the construction of luxurious palaces, was very proud of Linderhof Castle.
