Katrina, who is now a fitness and healthy nutrition specialist, has been on diets since she was 13 years old until she found out that the reason for her constant excess weight was undiagnosed food allergies.

“I have a lot of health problems that are directly related to food allergies,” said a 30-year-old woman, who now weighs 73 kg.

The reason for being overweight

“I ate things that were hurting my body without even realizing it, and this led to constant inflammation in my body that makes us fat.”

About two years ago, she finally began to find out why and saw significant results.

Katrina suffered from fibromyalgia, hypothyroidism, acne, and arthritis, which led to depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts.

The woman went to three different doctors and they couldn't understand what was going on.

Finally, she found a specialist to help her figure out the cause of the extra pounds, and now she takes control of her health through nutrition and exercise.

Before losing weight, Katrina loved eating out and eating fast food, but now she practices healthy eating and fitness 25 minutes a day.

“Losing weight changed my life in every way, I went from being barely alive to coming back to life. I was in so much pain that I was ready to die.”

Katrina described her amazing transformation on her blog and Instagram and claims that it was so radical that even her family had a hard time recognizing her.

She states that it is enough to exercise for 25 minutes a day to keep fit.

“The most important thing is nutrition, but you need to stop thinking about diets that will only lead to failure, you need to eat right and pay attention to what you eat.”

“If food makes you feel bad, you need to stay away from it and find foods that give you energy.”

Food allergy symptoms

An allergic reaction to food can affect the skin, gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tract, and in some cases the cardiovascular system. The reaction can be mild to severe, including a potentially life-threatening condition of anaphylaxis.

Food allergy symptoms usually appear between a few minutes and several hours after you have eaten a food you are allergic to.

Mild symptoms include:

· Redness in the skin or around the eyes

· Itching around the mouth or ear canal

· Nausea or vomiting

· Diarrhea

· Abdominal pain

· Nasal congestion or runny nose

· Sneezing

· Mild dry cough

· Strange taste in the mouth

· Uterine contractions

Severe symptoms may include:

· Swollen lips, tongue, or throat

· Difficulty swallowing

· Difficulty breathing or wheezing

· Blue

· Lowering blood pressure (fainting, confusion, weakness)

· Loss of consciousness

Severe symptoms alone or in combination with mild symptoms may be signs of anaphylaxis and require urgent medical attention.
