Self-care is often limited to brushing your teeth, but in today's rhythm, the body requires more attention to itself. On Saturday, August 17, 2019, an unusual Picnic will take place at Kinopolyan in Sokolniki Park (Sokolnichesky Val 1s1). The educational project “Pure Confidence” invites you to the Open School of Health and Confidence.
The main event of the picnic will be a presentation by specialists, including:
Dermatologist-venerologist, Professor Larisa Sergeevna Kruglova, Head of the Department of Dermatovenerology and Cosmetology, Federal State Budgetary Institution of Additional Professional Education “TsSMA” of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation
psychologist, professor Marina Antipovna Samushiya, Senior Researcher, Federal State Budgetary Scientific Research Center for Mental Health
nutritionist, candidate of medical sciences Tatyana Nikolaevna Solntseva, therapist at the Federal Research Center for Nutrition and Biotechnology
Experts will tell you how to control your health, how various nutrition systems and properly organized medical measures can defeat the most serious pathologies, as well as the importance of psychological health. Together with them, a stylist will advise anyone who wants to know how easy changes in appearance will help them gain self-confidence.
At Picnic, you can send a free postcard anywhere in the world and remind someone close to you that despite the distance, you are always there. In the era of online correspondence, it is these unexpected signs of attention that remind us of the most important things and help us believe in ourselves. In addition, you will be able to learn the art of origami and try your hand at creating a bird out of plain paper.
The educational project “Pure Confidence”, organized to raise public awareness about diseases such as psoriasis, is being implemented with the support of the All-Russian Union of Patients. “One of the problems today is the stigmatization of chronic diseases. Many people simply do not know the nature of diseases, as is the case with psoriasis, because it is not contagious. Therefore, the importance of awareness-raising activities should not be underestimated. Both for society as a whole and for people who live with this disease,” says Polina Pchelnikova, project coordinator of the All-Russian Union of Patients.
The Pure Confidence picnic will take place on August 17 from 1 pm to 8 pm in Sokolniki Park in Kinopolyan (Sokolnichesky Val 1s1).
You can find out more about the event on the Pure Confidence community pages on VKontakte and Facebook.
