In the summer of 2018, Georgia’s first ArgoNautic surf station opened in Batumi. Water sports equipment can be rented here, and instructors are available for those who want to learn.

ArgoNautic Surf Station offers rental and training in SUP-surfing (Stand Up Paddle board — standing), windsurfing and kayaking. Certified instructors will teach beginners the safe management of all listed water shells.

The most popular at the station is SUP—surfing, it is easy to learn, and it is available to people in any physical form. You can surf standing up in any weather, except storms; the boards provided by the station are very stable and easy to manage. Waves in the ArgoNautic surf station area are very rare, and if they happen, they are wide and infrequent and swing like on a swing. If you’re lucky, you can see a dolphin — they swim here quite often.

Kayaking usually does not require training, a short briefing is enough. There are 2-3-seater boats available at the surf station, which can be rented.

For those who have difficulties with a sense of balance and balance, there is a balance board on the territory of the station. You can train on it absolutely free of charge for both adults and children.

For all comers, SUP-charging is carried out in the morning at the ArgoNautic surf station — a set of simple exercises right in the sea on SUP-boards with a view of Batumi. In case of bad weather, there are wetsuits at the surf station.
