Today, you can easily find a variety of souvenirs and jewelry on store shelves. And when it comes to the New Year holidays, all kinds of garlands, rains, confetti and Christmas decorations for every taste are just a breeze.

Have you ever tried to make something like this yourself? It may not be as professional and high-quality as a souvenir out of the box, but how much warmth, comfort and joy such a toy will bring, especially if you make it with your children.

Today we will make a snow globe with you. Yes, the same ball in which it “snows” when shaken. Remember? Probably everyone had one when they were kids.

To work, we will need:

transparent plastic Christmas ball;

plastic Christmas tree branch;

plastic bottle cap;

Christmas sparkles;

glycerol;

water;

hot melt adhesive;

scissors.

So let's get started:

1. We take the Christmas sparkles and cut them into small pieces, which, in fact, will be our snowflakes.

2. Now let's take a transparent Christmas ball and remove the mount from it. This is the main part of our future snow globe.

3. Put the sliced sparkles into our ball.

4. Now we take the lid from the plastic bottle, a small piece of artificial Christmas tree branch and use hot glue to fix this branch inside the lid.

5. Pour 25 milligrams of liquid glycerin into our glitter balloon, which you can buy, for example, at a pharmacy.

6. Fill the remaining empty volume of the ball with plain water.

Glycerin dissolved in water will give our liquid inside the ball a more viscous consistency, which will make the movement of the “snowflakes” smoother and more beautiful.

7. Now we take our lid with the glued branch and carefully insert the tip of the branch into the ball so that it fully fits inside, and the lid fits snugly against the hole in the ball.

8. Using hot melt glue, attach the lid to the ball around the perimeter.

9. Then we take the Christmas sparkles again and fix them around the glued lid in several layers, coating each new layer with hot glue.

10. Now let's make sure we've done everything right and see how this whole process looks on video.

That's it! Our snow globe is ready!

Now this wonderful handmade souvenir can decorate your interior, as well as become a wonderful gift for your family and friends.
