It is believed that the age of motherhood has now increased significantly, as are complications and developmental anomalies in children. But is this really the case? What is the best age to have kids? While medical complications should not be ignored, some scientists have found advantages in having children later in life.
Scientists from the University of California conducted a study and found that 35 years is the optimal age for women's first child. They found that pregnancy after 35 years of age improves the mental abilities of mothers.
Pregnancy after age 35

The study compared post-menopausal women who gave birth to children between 15 and 24 years of age and women who had children at the age of 35. Older women had better verbal and problem-solving abilities, mental clarity, and memory. In other words, their psyche was healthier.
The reason for this phenomenon lies in hormones. While estrogen and progesterone increase all the time during pregnancy, they had a better effect on brain chemistry in mothers over 35 years of age.
There are many pros and cons of having a child at any age, but the main thing is that it brings joy.
