Here are a few challenges that took over the online environment, where users tried to prove their attractiveness to everyone.
Beauty tests
1. The handle is under the chest.

The world is crazy about women's breasts, and this is once again confirmed by social networks. In 2016, an “under the breast” challenge appeared on the Internet, when women began to post photos en masse on Instagram with a pen clamped under their breasts from below.
The idea was that if your breasts are firm enough and the perfect size, you'll be able to hold a pen or pencil under your chest.
2. Get it to the navel.

This trend originated in China, and the idea was very simple: you need to reach your navel with your hand behind your back. In order to do this trick, you need a slim waist and good flexibility.
Thousands of people in China and other countries have posted photos showing the ability to reach the navel, including fairly well-fed users who have proven that the main thing in this business is these are long arms.

3. iPhone on its knees.

Once again, this challenge originated in China, where there seems to be an unhealthy link between thinness and beauty. When the new thin iPhone 6 came out, some women decided to use the smartphone to demonstrate how narrow their legs were.
The challenge was to cover both knees with a tiny smartphone. If this seems ridiculous to you, you're not alone.
However, in China, the challenge has become incredibly popular and has received hundreds of millions of views on social networks, and many girls immediately decided to show off their thin bones using the phone.
4. Finger test.

Many of the challenges posed on the Internet are based on the idea that beauty is determined by the specific structure of a part of the body. One of the most ridiculous examples of this was the finger test to determine attractiveness.
All you need to do is raise your index finger with the tip to your nose and the base of your finger to your chin. If your lips touch your finger, you are beautiful.
The test is based on a face symmetry ratio of "3:1", but there is no scientific evidence for this.
Body slimness
5. Bikini bridge.

With the onset of the swimming season, a trend has also begun to spread online, where women began to show others how attractive they are with a swimsuit.
The “bikini bridge” challenge began as a joke with the famous 4chan web forum, where women posted photos of flat bellies and high pelvic bones that held straps from fake profiles bikini panties that rise above the body.
The challenge immediately went viral, and for many it became a motive for losing weight. Unfortunately, the bikini bridge has also been picked up by many sites that support anorexia, where women lose weight dangerously to meet unrealistic beauty standards.
6. Reverse prayer.

Flexibility plays a big part in many Internet challenges, but in 2015, the unusual “reverse prayer” posture put many to the test.
The challenge was to put your hands behind your back and put your hands together with the phone in your hands. At the same time, the higher you can raise your arms, the more flexible you are if you can fold your arms at all.
Many tried to simulate the pose by pulling their hair over their faces and wearing their clothes backwards.
7. Clavicle.

One of the most difficult challenges to the body appeared on Instagram in 2015, when women started posting pictures of themselves by placing coins on their collarbones.

The rules are simple: the more coins you can hold between your clavicle and shoulder, the better. One record holder was able to hold 80 coins on both sides of the clavicle.
It's hard to say exactly what users want to prove with this challenge, but it looks a bit odd.
8. Hairy armpits.

While most online tests are designed to prove beauty and femininity once again, one of them was designed to embrace naturalness.
This is how Chinese feminist Xiao Meili called on women to share photos of their unshaven armpits and offered rewards for the most popular armpit selfies.
The network was filled with photos of young ladies showing off their armpits in their natural form, and the most popular one won 100 condoms.
9. Paper waist.

This online challenge was also designed to demonstrate slimness. According to the challenge, you needed to hold a standard sheet of A4 paper upright at your waist, covering as much of your body space as possible.
Do not be upset if you could not pass this test, because by making simple mathematical calculations, you can understand that a 60 cm waist is very small.
10. Lip augmentation.

Many users on the Internet have begun to imitate American celebrity Kylie Jenner, whose lips have become very popular on Instagram.
According to rumors, Jenner used a suction device to enlarge her lips.
Participants in this flash mob used narrow glasses or the neck of a plastic bottle to achieve results at home. However, quite often these experiments failed, and the unfortunate posted photos and videos with excessively pouted lips with bruises and hematomas, while experiencing unpleasant painful sensations.
