For example, a couple of very old Dutch prostitutes wanted to publish a book about their youth in the famous Red Light District. We are talking about two twin sisters who are currently under 70 years old. Louise and Martina Fokkens's main occupation was prostitution.
These Dutch priestesses of love are considered to be the oldest members of their profession. It is interesting that the “profession” is inherited in the family. For more than a hundred years, the Fokkens family has been involved in this business, which can confidently be called a family business. In Amsterdam, the sisters are pretty famous.
The “girls” on call had a pretty bright and busy life, which they intend to talk about in their memoirs. In their book, the sisters will share how their career in the sex industry began. Let us remind you that in Holland, the work of a prostitute is considered as common as many other professions. After working for a while as an ordinary priestess of love, the sisters won the right to open their own brothel. The twins are also known for organizing the first informal trade union of prostitutes in Holland.
It is noteworthy that one of the sisters left the ranks of priestesses of love only two years ago. According to Louise, she did this solely because of health problems. The second sister continues to work in the brothel. As Martina herself says, “it is unrealistically difficult to live on a social pension”, especially when you get used to it all your life and not deny yourself anything.
Some sources say that the world's oldest priestess of love earns about $80,000 a year. Agree, a very good profit for a woman of retirement age. Not every even more standard profession can bring such income.
