Incredible facts

The Scottish brewery has produced the strongest beer in the world, called Armageddon, with 65 percent alcohol content by volume. It's stronger than vodka and whiskey.

The intoxicating blend created by Brewmeister Brewery contains ingredients such as crystal malt, wheat, oat flakes and 100 percent Scottish spring water.

The beer then goes through a process called freezing fermentation, in which the temperature drops sharply and the first frozen portion is removed. This results in the highest alcohol content.

For comparison, regular beer contains about 4-10 percent alcohol by volume.

Beer, which has a viscous property, is good at “hitting the head”. As explained by the co-owner of the brewery, it looks more like a liquor, but is still classified as beer.

Manufacturers warn that this drink should be drunk in small sips and served in doses of brandy.

Many breweries are trying to outdo each other in beer strength. First, BrewDog, a Scottish brewery, produced Tactical Nuclear Penguin beer with a strength of 32 percent. It was surpassed by German Schorsbrau beer with 40 percent alcohol content. In response, BrewDog released Sink the Bismarck at 41 percent, followed by The End of History, a 55 percent Belgian pale ale packed in scarecrow bottles animals.

A bottle of Armageddon beer costs $50. The second strongest beer in the world is now owned by BrewDog, also from Scotland, which also made the world's first Viagra beer.
