Dahab
Dahab is Sharm el-Sheikh in miniature (they are separated by only 100 km). His trick is also diving: legends are made up about the richness of local reefs. It was not without its own dive attraction – the Blue Hole, dives into which, however, are not always successful. Prices for diving in Dahab are not the same as Sharmovsky. Well, for those who do not like to dive, we can recommend getting on the board: the conditions here are excellent for windsurfing.

Marsa Alam
Marsa Alam is one of the warmest places in Egypt. The resort lies closer to the tropic of Cancer, so it is hotter here than in Hurghada. But thanks to the cool winds, it’s comfortable to rest. One of the advantages of Mars-Alam is the presence of an international airport. Another plus is the stunning natural locations around. 40 km from the resort is the Wadi el Himal Nature Reserve, famous for its rock temple, emerald mines and a large number of camels. 115 km away is the Dolphin House Reef, where you can see flocks of these mammals.

Port Ghalib
Port Ghalib is a synonym for luxury. This “man-made oasis”, created in 2009, can be called the Egyptian Monaco: here, too, there are only very expensive hotels, an elegant public, there is a private yacht marina and a pretentious embankment where you can walk designer outfits and luxury jewelry bought in local boutiques. Beaches are not the strongest place in Port Ghalib, but in the infinity pool of a five—star hotel you easily forget about it.

Safaga
A quiet, democratic resort with excellent beaches, where there are many times fewer vacationers than in neighboring Hurghada. Ideal for a family holiday: the prices for accommodation are moderate, there are almost no bars and discos, there is fine sand on the coast. By the way, it is called curative, and it is recommended to come to Safaga for those who suffer from diseases of the skin and musculoskeletal system. Divers of Safaga will also like it: 20 km from it lies the striking pristine beauty of the Red Reef.

Soma Bay
Formally, Soma Bay is part of Hurghada, but in fact it is an independent resort, where the “five” prevail, including well-known chains. Soma’s fame was brought by the thalassotherapy center at The Cascades Hotel — it is one of the three largest in the Middle East. It also houses a magnificent golf club. The list of entertainment is very impressive: diving, excursions to the quarries, and the fabulous palace “Thousand and One Nights”, and the nearby Hurghada (if you want very loud entertainment).

Taba
This resort is popular with those who like to explore the culture of different countries: from here, Israel, Jordan and Saudi Arabia are just a stone’s throw away. In addition, a few kilometers from Taba are Pharaohs Island with an ancient fortress that saw Lawrence of Arabia himself, and a Colored Canyon — one of the wonders of Egypt’s nature. The coral reefs surrounding Taboo are famous all over the country. But fans of hanging out here will be bored. The beaches in Taba are sandy, but the corals are close, you need special shoes.

El Gouna
El Gouna was nicknamed the Egyptian Venice. Low-rise hotels and villas here stand on separate islands, planted with palm trees and connected by bridges. And boats glide along the channels formed between them. The audience in El Gouna is predominantly European. The only nuance of the resort is that the hotels have almost no access to the sea. But there is a whole island of entertainment and the “island-beach” of El Kafr, which is also the base of kitesurfers. Vacationers with children should like the El Gouna Water Park.
